The Cabanas Hotel
Cabanas is more informal than the other Sun City hotels and also the most affordable which makes it perfect for family vacations. To cater for kids of all ages, there is Kamp Kwena where children can lose themselves in all kinds of adventures and join adventure programs supervised by Cabanas’ staff, so parents can relax while the kids are entertained.
The Cabanas ground boast lots of luscious green lawn and a short distance from the hotel there is Waterworld where you can waterskii, jet ski, paddle ski, go on mini-boat rides and the works on Sun City Lake.
The hotel has three different areas for dining and enjoying a drink, depending on your mood and the time of day. There’s the Palm Terrace Restaurant with a supervised kids play area during the buffet breakfast and dinners. Then there is the Pool Bar and Treasure Island Snack Bar that serve light meals as well.
Come to Sun City and see wild animals in the nearby Pilanesberg National Park, lounge by the pool or participate in water sports in the Valley of the Waves or on the Sun City man-made lake. You can also hop over to the golf course, one of the two spa’s or the Entertainment Centre where you’ll find a casino, cinema and shopping heaven.
